Sanibel Moorings’ Policies, Terms and Conditions

  • Smoking: Sanibel Moorings is a Smoke-Free Both smoking and vaporizers are prohibited in all units, porches and common areas, including the Gardens. There is a $500 fine for smoking in the units and a $100 fine for smoking on the property at Sanibel Moorings.
  • Pets: Guest pets are permitted with prior approval only. A fee of $30 per pet/per night plus tax is applied. The following breeds are not allowed: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Mastiff, Chow, Dalmatian, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Husky, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Wolf Hybrid or mixes of any of the above breeds.
  • Occupancy: One-bedroom suite based on two-person occupancy; Two-bedroom suite based on four-person occupancy; Three-bedroom suite based on six-person occupancy. Extra person charge (over the
    age of 2) is $15 per person, per night, plus tax.
  • Rates and Fees: Rates do not include state and local taxes, telephone charges, amenity fees or incidental charges. Rates subject to change without notice. Rates for long term stay available upon request.
  • Deposits: A 35% deposit is required within 7 days of booking to guarantee a reservation. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, cash and personal checks are accepted. Balance due upon arrival.
  • Cancellations and Changes: All reservations cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival will receive a refund less a $150 service fee plus applicable tax. Cancellations or changes within the 30-days window will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Extra parking pass: $25 per car/per stay. Only one parking spot is included in the price of the unit.
    No more than 2 cars per unit.
  • Check-in: Check-in time is guaranteed by 4:30pm
  • Check-out: Check-out time is 11am
  • Late arrivals: Guests planning to arrive after hours must contact the office at least 48 hours prior to arrival for late check-in instructions.
  • Minimum Age Requirement: Guests must be 25 years or older to rent a unit at Sanibel Moorings in their name
  • Roll-away beds, cribs and highchairs: Available for rent at nominal rates.
  • Boat dockage: Dockage with water & electric is available at $20 per day. Boat trailer parking is
    not permitted.
  • Golf carts (both electric and solar powered) are not permitted at Sanibel Moorings
